Learn how DC Central Kitchen's newest initiative, "Healthy Corners," is bringing fresh produce and nutritious snacks to corner stores and small retailers in Wards 5, 7, and 8!! Find out more information on Healthy Corners here .
**Support Get FED and our outreach efforts beginning this Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 9am-2pm at the Ward 8 Farmers Market! A representative from DC Central Kitchen also will be there on Saturday, November 5, 2011 to provide information on "Healthy Corners." Join us every Saturday until Thanksgiving! The market sells fresh fruit, vegetables, bread and meat, and accepts EBT, SNAP, WIC, or senior food vouchers from DC, Maryland or any other state. For more information, go here .
